By registering on this website you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

When acknowledgement of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.
We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you a "confirmation of order". We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, such as we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.


The cost of delivery as stated on your order.

We can usually arrange delivery between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

If you are unavailable to take delivery of your order then you can request that our courier leaves it in a safe place or with a neighbour. However, we regret that we can accept no responsibility for subsequent damage that may occur, once the order has been left at the delivery address.

If at a first attempt the courier fails to deliver the order, then they will leave a card, and it will be up to you, the recipient, to make arrangements to receive the order from them. The courier will try to deliver the order once more free of charge, after this they will charge out at their standard rate. This will be advised by the courier at the time of arranging any subsequent deliveries.


Returns:If your order is broken or damaged when it is delivered, then you should notify us as soon as possible or in any case within 7 days of delivery. You will have the option of returning the whole order or just the affected items. You can notify us by email by post by writing to Stows Cycles, 72 High Street West, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 1EL.

We will happily exchange the goods or issue a refund.

All refunds under this returns policy will be paid within14 days of you notifying us, providing that the merchandise has been returned.

Any items being returned must be unused and in their original packaging to prevent any further damage.

Cancellations:You can cancel an order at any time up to 14 days from the date of delivery, as long as the items remain unusedand intact, by contacting us via email by post by writing to Stows Cycles, 72 High Street West, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 1EL.

We will reimburse the price of the items within 7 working days of receiving the goods back.

Refunds will only be returned to the original payment method.

You are responsible for returning the items safely to us. Any items being returned must be unused and in their original packaging and in a resalable condition.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods and suggested that you use a signed for service to have proof of returns.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at Gov.UK


Unfortunately from time to time items may become unavailable, we will do our best to minimise this occurrence, however, if it should happen, we will contact you to suggest an appropriate alternative. Please note that we will not charge you until the order is ready to be dispatched.


All prices are quoted in pounds sterling. Our prices include value added tax, and duty unless otherwise specified. Any delivery charges are additional. We accept payment by American Express, Delta, Mastercard, Solo, Switch/Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron and Paypal. Payment for goods is in advance only, however, we only charge once an order is ready to dispatch.


We utilise secure servers and secure socket layer technology for the transfer of credit card details. We will continue to implement the latest technology as it becomes available to guarantee our customers peace of mind and safe shopping. There are also security measures in place to protect our customer database and access to it is restricted within the company.


We can appreciate the frustration of unsolicited mail, so under no circumstances will we pass on any of our valued clients details with out their permission. However, where we feel that we have a genuine offer or a piece of news, we will let our customers know. If you do not require this information then please send an email to unsubscribe in the message heading.

We will provide an estimate of the cost and time need to complete your work. It is an estimate, so service completion times are on the provision that any additional parts are available immediately. You will be advised if the repair is going to take a little longer due to theordering of spare parts.

Our initial estimate may not identify all the parts or work that may be required. Once our mechanic has further assessed your bike on the work stand, they will advise you of any additional parts that need replacing and/or work that needs to be done. If the overall cost of the repair is going to exceed the estimate by more than 10%, we will contact you for your approval before proceeding with the service. Please provide your phone or email address for that purpose.

Stows Cycles will not accept liability for any consequential losses or costs, should it not be possible to repair your bike within the agreed timescale, for whatever reason.

Should you require the return of any parts that may be replaced during the service, please advise our team when you drop your bike in. Should we not receive this notification, Stows Cycles will not accept liability for any parts disposed of.

In the event that there is a possibility of damage being caused to your bike, for example when attempting to remove a seized component, we will request your approval to proceed; in such situations Stows Cycles will not accept liability for any damage subsequently caused.

Unless a prior arrangement is made, your bike should be collected from the store within 24hrs of your service being completed. A storage charge of up to £4/day may be applied after this time. After three months, we will make every reasonable attempt to contact you to inform you that your bike will be disposed of to recover our workshop and storage costs.

All parts supplied by Stows Cycles are suitable for the job and last a reasonable amount of time. Stows Cycles accepts no responsibility for the suitability or warranty of parts supplied by a customer.

In the event there is a problem arising following completion of the work, and the bike is returned within 7 days of completion, Stows Cycles will evaluate and determine, in their sole opinion, whether they will undertake any corrective work. Stows Cycles would like to resolve any issue amicably, but we would not accept any responsibility for damage caused by accidents, carelessness, tampering and/or wear and tear.

For bikes or parts sold by Stows Cycles, we will undertake any warranty work in consultation with the manufacturer, and we will advise you whether your claim is accepted in full or in part by the manufacturer and any cost to you to complete the work.

All of our bikes have a minimum 1 year warranty, and most brands offer extended warranty on their frames. In addition, some brands offer a crash replacement policy, so if you were to damage a frame in a crash, you can buy the replacement frame at a greatly reduced price. The warranties cover new bicycles being free of defective materials and workmanship. Warranties are void if the bicycle is not assembled by an authorised dealer. Check with us for more information regarding extended warranties on bikes, frames and components.
