Grit.CX, the new publication dedicated to all things Cyclocross, had the TCX Advanced pro 2 for a recent review and were impressed with the race-ready but adaptable machine.

It’s safe to say that tester Jeff Lockwood was more than thorough – he took the bike through cobblestones in Belgium, gravel roads in Holland and several cyclocross sessions over two continents, so we hope he knows the bike inside out by now!

After months of riding, he found the bike was “not only a purebred cyclocross race rig, but quite adaptable on trails and rough surfaces”, and also said it is “one of the most comfortable i've ever ridden”.

The overall package delivered by the bike was praised: the "frame and fork deliver a superb base performance at a great price-point”. The D fuse seatpost also came in for attention, with Jeff noting that “the compliance of the proprietary D-Fuse seatpost was immediately apparent”, helping to smooth out the ride.

The review was rounded off by “I would find this bike great for racers who are getting more serious about the sport and looking to upgrade from their old entry level rig”.
