With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.
Hassle-free Returns
Returns: If your order arrives damaged in some way or you simply change your mind, then you should notify us as soon as possible or within 14 days of delivery. You will have the option of returning the whole order or just the affected item(s). You can notify us by email at cycles@stows.co.uk or by post by writing to Stows Cycles, 72 High Street West, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 1EL or calling us on 01753 520 528.
We will happily exchange the goods or issue a refund.
All refunds under this returns policy will be paid within 14 days of receiving the goods back.
Any undamged items being returned must be unused and in their original packaging to prevent any further damage and in a resaleable condition.
Refunds can only be returned to the original payment method.

Beginning with the integrated Specialized 1.2 motor the vado proves itself as the ultimate city bike. It features a silently operating design with our custom rx street tune that takes the output and makes it the most usable for the urban environment. Think of it this way: the more power you put out the more power the motor puts out and this makes accelerations from a standstill both quick and efficient. The belt driven motor is also smooth silent and free of annoying vibrations. Perfect.
For the vado 4.0 we developed a custom 500 wh battery the Specialized u1-500 that seamlessly integrates into the frame is lockable and is easily removable for simplified charging. Depending on your riding style terrain and setup there's plenty of juice to take you to and from work make a trip to the grocery store or to even head over to that new caf on the other side of town.
We also developed a custom 2.2-inch computer with the german powerhouse bloks. With this smart computer you're able to view your battery level and toggle various ride metrics such as speed distance and time. You can also peruse these screens via the custom handlebar remote without ever removing your hands from the bars.
To top off all of the innovative features we chose a worry-free spec on the turbo vado 4.0 so it features Shimano 11-speed components hydraulic disc brakes racks and fenders.
